Test Engineer

Tasks and Activities:

• Testing and validation of electric/electronic traction drive components and systems on test rigs and in vehicles
• Responsible for performing validation tests according to OEM norms and internal norms
• Support in performance testing
• Responsible for HW/SW testing
• Responsible for HW/SW adaption of samples on test rig
• Support in definition of tests derived from requirements
• Support in test planning and test optimization for all phases from prototype till SOP
• Continuous improvement of testing and validation process

Skill Set:

• Education with at least diploma/master in software or electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience in testing of electric and electronic components
• Experience in automotive SW tools for calibration and testing
• Experience in controls of electric motors
• Experience in automotive testing and validation processes
• Knowledge of standards and legislation for testing and validation of electric traction drives
• Skills and experience in inter-cultural teams
• Excellent language skills in English
