Techstream Global are pleased to be working exclusively with one of the world most exciting global sports media platform. Our client require a new Sales Manager to develop and grow programmatic revenues in the DACH region.
You will be expected to develop a programmatic sales strategy within the DACH region, and utilise both newly formed and existing trading desk/programmatic relationships to execute against it in order to achieve the agreed revenue targets.
Understanding clients' needs and the specific environment of the programmatic market in DACH, the media industry, and trends within video, football and the sports industry will all be imperative as you will be responsible for developing relationships and maximising the available opportunities across the media landscape.
You will also be expected to meet with each of the major programmatic trading desk partners in the DACH region to pitch collaborations and to review existing performance on a quarterly basis.
Working closely with both clients and media agencies, you will also be responsible for developing trade agreements, as well as fulfilling them with solutions that involve video distribution across the business and their network.
You will be passionate about the programmatic industry and able to explain marketplace trends fluently.
- Utilise inventory and engaged audiences across the company's App and the company's Network to help brands and agencies achieve their goals
- Meet and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets
- Develop and execute a DACH sales strategy around programmatic
- Meet / sell / upsell / review performance with programmatic buyers on a regular basis
- Develop new and existing relationships at each relevant media agency and client to unlock new revenue opportunities
- Set up annual trade agreements with relevant clients and media or programmatic agencies
- Identify appropriate industry events to attend and where possible present at
- Entertain and host strategically important clients at relevant events
- 3+ years sales experience and established programmatic media/trading desk network
- Know-how about the programmatic media industry and familiar with its KPIs, especially with video
- Proven track record in selling programmatic products in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on mentality and confidence in pitches, negotiations and interactions with top contacts of the industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external parties
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passionate team player with a network to leverage
- Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English
- Experience of using Salesforce and keynote is preferable
- Love of football or sport in general is a bonus.
