Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)
The leading provider in the global automotive industry specialising in electrification and hybridization is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Austria.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will become a part of a motivated team in the field of Project Management Office. You will interface with the project employees in automotive series development projects and monitor attention to the implementation of the quality standards.
Some of your tasks will include:
- Planning of quality assurance measures for automotive development projects
- Creating QA Plans
- Definition of quality objectives and quality indicators
- Implementation of quality measures (i.e. implementation of reviews and audits) in the projects in coordination with the project management
- Supporting project teams in achieving project and process goals and interface support for production
- Organisation and coordination of development-related measures (e.B. risk analyses, FMEA,...) and cooperation with Functional Safety Manager
- Review of the implementation and effectiveness of development-related measures in the project (i.e. from FMEA)
- Initiation and follow-up of corrective measures to achieve quality objectives
- Create regular QA reports to show the current quality status
- Continuous development of the applied methods and processes in the field of quality assurance
Required Skills
- Completed training at a TU/FH in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology or alternatively completed HTL with appropriate professional experience
- Experience in automotive quality management or software quality assurance based on SPICE and/or CMMI
- Experience in quality assurance in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 or knowledge of the usual standards in the automotive sector (e.B. AECQ, etc.)
- Near-series industrialization experience is an advantage
- FMEA moderation experience of mechatronic products required, knowledge of APIS IQ-RM advantageous;
- Structured working methods and self-organization
- High social competence, assertiveness, teamwork, overview in critical situations, problem-solving skills
