Product Engineer (Definition of GaN products) - m/w/d

We are working with a client currently, a Semiconductor powerhouse, to fulfil a number of positions specifically focused around GaN technology. Within this Business Unit we are looking for a Product Engineer/Application Engineer to drive product definition of GaN technologies for both discrete & integrated products who will:

- Drive and define the next wave of GaN integrated and discrete products
- Take product requirements and collaborate with stakeholders during the entire development lifecycle (incorporating development, quality, marketing and application)
- Support the product roadmap within application engineering, closely collaborating with the marketing team
- Benchmark the next generation ICs and power technologies against competitors
- Define product-specific material including technical support

Your background:

- A strong background in academia, ideally a Ph.D or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical area, with a focus on Power Electronics
- Strong, proven experience of Power ICs and devices (MOSFETs, Gate Drivers)
- Exposure and knowledge of GaN technologies
- Solid understanding of a power components parameters influence in applications
