Principal Digital Design Engineer job in Grenoble

Autostream Global are delighted to be recruiting a principal digital design engineer for a global semiconductor business with top class development and in-house production.

Responsiblities

Responsible for providing Digital Design solutions for the new ASIC products (CMOS and BCD technology) on our client´s roadmap
Working within multidisciplinary project team with Product Definer, Architect, Analog designers, Test and Product engineers, Application engineers on the development of Interface and Power Management products
Define together with the architect an optimum partition between digital and analog domain
Define the requirements for Digital IP including DFT based on product requirements
Modelling and design of algorithms and Digital circuit blocks
Performing verification including digital and mixed-signal simulations
Design for Testability (including scan design) to detect manufacturing defects
Drive digital back-end design on synthesis, P&R and ATPG
Verify test patterns and support test engineering with pattern implementation on ATE

Requirements

BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 - 8 years of working experience in Digital Design
Flexible and self-motivated engineer with a future desire to lead and guide others
Expert in hardware description languages (VHDL / Verilog / SystemVerilog) and solid experience with mixed signal product development and design flows
Affinity and knowledge about digital back-end design and DFT is desired
Experienced with Synopsys design environment including UVM is a plus
Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and scripting languages like Tcl and Python is preferred
Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective team player with good communication skills (English) who is able to run parallel projects autonomously
