Field Application Engineer - Motor Controls

AutoStream Global are partnered with a world-leading Semiconductors business based in the DACH region. Due to continued growth and project wins we are supporting their search for a Field Applications Engineer with specific focus on Motor Control applications.

Within this role the successful applicant will work closely with their customer base and the Sales/FAE´s team across Europe to increase market share alongside the design wins in Motor Control applications (HV Brushless DC´s)

Duties will include:

- Providing application and design support to their customer base
- Revise customers´ designs, identifying changes for improvement
- Produce adapted designs and hardware to meet requirements
- Carry out continuous technical training to customers
- Work closely with Sales and FAE´s teams in Europe to achieve design wins and revenue (20% travel required)

Requirements:

- Ideally MSc degree (BSc considered) in Electronics Engineering
- Good experience in Hardware and Software design for HV Brushless DC motor control applications
- Knowledge of motor steering techniques and application (Block commutation, FOC, Sinusoide)
- ARM architecture knowledge and C/C++ programming
- Inverter schematic parts understanding for Motor Controls
- Fluent English languages skills, German beneficial
