Basic Software Developer (E-Drive) (m/f/d/)

You will be responsible for the basic software used in the control units and thus contribute to the efficient control of our all-wheel, hybrid and electric drive systems. You will have technical responsibilities in projects and develop a product with the latest software tools, which must meet high standards and is used worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Requirement's analysis and software architecture design for the basic software of control units
• Integration of CAN, CAN-FD or Flexray communication
• Extension and adaptation of the interfaces to other software parts
• Implementation of customer-specific software components, as well as the creation of software delivery packages for our customers
• Specification and supplier monitoring for software purchases
• Parameter handling with AVL Creta in the context of customer projects

Skills

• Completed training at university level in applied sciences or TU specializing in telematics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• In-depth knowledge of the C programming language
• Experience with the following tools is an advantage: AVL Creta, µC Freescale Leopard or Infineon Aurix and Autosar 3.x or 4.x
• Knowledge of development processes in the automotive sector (SPICE, ISO 26262) is desirable
• High organizational skills with independent working methods and high problem-solving skills
• Good command of the English language and German advantageous
